Analog Devices收购了the wireless assets ofComcores. Analog Devices plans to continue to evolve the wireless technology and participate in the O-RAN forum. Teams based in Denmark and Poland, including Comcores founder and former CEO, Thomas Noergaard, will join ADI. Comcores will retain its other lines of intellectual property and digital systems business, Chip-to-Chip and Ethernet Systems IP, will continue under the new Comcores CEO, John Illerup Mortensen. “The asset sales of Comcores’ wireless business to Analog Devices is an important step for Comcores in refocusing its business to have stronger impact in areas like Ethernet communication technology, timing and Chip Interfaces enabling next generation of ASICs,” said Noergaard. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

JEDECpublishedthe DDR4 NVDIMM-P Bus Protocol standard, JESD304-4.01, which aims to enable the creation of advanced memory solutions that benefit from the enhanced system performance and novel data availability offered by persistent memory devices. NVDIMM-P provides a full transactional interface protocol compatible with standard DRAM DIMMs along with a firmware programming model for the modules. It provides low latency and high bandwidth access to Persistent Memory modules in a system and abstraction to enable most memory media on the DDR channel.
